Christchurch
The Leith contingent of the Otago Athletics Team performed well at the New Zealand Road Championships held in Christchurch. There were some interesting results, some unexpected. Swirling winds which kicked up a lot of dust at the start area on the multi-lap course may have caused a few breathing problems for some but overall the weather was fine and warm and the wind did not play a huge factor on the mostly pine-tree sheltered course. Check individual race reports below each race result.
