Skyline Challenge)

An annual 26km Mountain Run organised by
Leith Harrier and Athletic Club, which traverses Flagstaff,
Swampy Summit and Mount Cargill. 2009 was the 26th running
of this event sometimes dubbed the Dunedin Skyline Challenge.
This race is open to registered and unregistered runners.

Leith Lovelock
Trials

Leith holds these trials in preparation of the
Lovelock Relays (OUHC). The trials are held at Chingford Park
on the soccer fields. This race is generally open only to
Leith members, but all are welcome.

Handicap Races

Open only to Leith athletes, this series
of handicap races are going to be held this year from Chingford
Park. Mostly on the sidewalk, partly on grass and gravel.
The feature race is run over a distance of 3 miles. Members
from other clubs may run on request.

Cross-Country Relays

"The Ponydales" this
is a tough, hilly, uncompromising cross-country series of
relay races of various distances. It is open to all Athletics
Otago Centre athletes. Centre registration is not required
for this race.

Hughes Memorial
Handicap Races

Open only to Leith athletes (registered or
not registered) this series of handicap races are going to be
held this year on the normal Wharf Circuit out to Vauxhall Boat
Club (10km) or vice versa depending on club hiring the Vauxhall
Boat Club facilities. Members from other
clubs can run on request.
