General Description
of Lovelock Trials races (not always run in this sequence
depends on numbers in each grade):
This event is run over a 375m track around the soccer
fields in front of the Chingford Park Clubrooms. It
is entirely over grass and if the weather has been rainy
the going can get very slippery and muddy. Spikes may
need to be used. The back straight has a slight uphill
gradient and the home straight a slight downhill gradient.
Please arrive by 1.45pm so that you can give your name
to the entry stewards. The men's and women's maiden
mile awards goes to the first runner from any age grade
to finish, who has previously not won a club event.
Please note that the starting times and number of races
may differ depending on the number of entries in each
