The Lovelock Relays is an annual event organised by the Otago
University Harrier and Multisport Club in honour of the
late great Jack Lovelock. New Zealand's Olympic Gold Medal
winner in the 1500m at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

Lovelock Relays 2010
Date: Saturday, 1st May 2010
Place: University Oval, Main Ground, Logan Park, Dunedin.
Format: Women and Mixed: 4 x 1500m
Men: 6 x 1500m
12 and under: 4 x 375m (1 lap each)
The race programme:
Race 1: 10:30am Masters Men (35-49, 50+), High School Boys
Race 2: 11:10am Masters Women (35-49, 50+), High School Girls
Race 3: 11:40am Social/Mixed
Race 4: 12:10pm Primary School Grade (Under 12s)
Race 5: 12.20pm Senior Women
Race 6: 12:50pm Senior Men
1:30 pm - Mass run round Logan Park / Gardens
2:30 pm - Prize giving: University Oval
N.B. Masters Men 35, 50/ Masters Women 35, 50 must be 35+,
50+ on the day of the race. High School Boys and High School
Girls teams may be composed of runners from more than one
school. 12 and under teams may be mixed teams - runners must
be 12 or under on 1st January 2010. Masters and High School
runners may run in the Men / Women grades but individual age
grades must be included (for individual fastest times).
